THE SETTLE TROPHY 2022
Selby camera club will be the host for this years competition which will be judged at Kings Church on Thursday 10th November 2022.
Pocklington camera club will replace Howden who have withdrawn which will mean that there is still a club from each of the Ridings.
A reminder that the clubs are: - Doncaster CC, Wakefield CC, Selby CC and Pocklington CC.
Once again the competition will be digital images only. 10 Open Monochrome & 10 Open Colour images from each club.

Thu 17 Nov 2022 - From Print 2 Perfection - Presented by Colin Hulley from Permajet
This should be a very interesting insight into printing. Colin is going to bring along some of his printers and a selection of Permajet papers. Nearer the time members will be invited to submit some of their images for Colin to Print. The intention is to demonstrate printing methods on a selection of papers to illustrate the benefit of choosing the correct paper.

Please note this will be a ZOOM Presentation. I hope you will remember David's first presentation where he showed us some fantastic underwater images amongst which were the breath taking Shark images and my favourite the Frog Fish.
David's presentations are always top quality and anticipated to be one of the best of this season.

Two of our members have been invited to give presentations. Dianne has recently completed a University Course specialising in Photography so her presentation will be demonstrating some of her work. Alan Priest has recently visited Cuba and his presentation will be based on nthe images he took of Cuban Life.

Alistair has literally travelled all over the world which is demonstrated through his wide range of images.
Alistairs life long passion has been Photography, He retired in 2016 and now prefers to spend time shooting Nature & Wildlife, Travel, Landscape & Sporting Action. He spent a total of 26 yrs. living & working residentialy abroad in 8 different countries. At one stage in his career he also ran, with a partner for 12 years, a Photographic business in N. Yorkshire that covered Wedding Event, Commercial & Industrial commissions....

This is the first of the three main club competitions. The remaing two will both be prints. Please remember in these competitions you can re-submit images used in the earlier points competions. However, you will not be allowed to submit images in the Prints competition used in the Projected Images competition and vice versa.
