After an absence of two years it was great to once again be able to ask the public to vote for their favourite images from those entered into our annual print competition.
With great enthusiasm over 600 visitors viewed the pictures and made their choices.
It was a very close competition with there being only 20 points difference between the first and second placings with eventual results being:-
1st place " The Milky Way over Ribblehead viaduct " by Chris Field
2nd place ' Kingfisher with fish " by Richard Poskitt
3rd place ' Grey Seal pup" by Brian Cartwright
Congratulations to the winners and thanks to everyone who participated in the exhibition and the voting.

Congratulations to Chris, Richard and Brian. Thanks to John for recording all the scores and Brian C for keeping the stewards supplied with replenished clip boards to hand out thoughout the three days.
This was my first experience of the exhibition
I thought it was fantastic
Thank you to all the committee and club members who gave up so much of their time this weekend to make it happen, especially John, Brian, and Celia.
As you say Sue thank you to everyone who helped make the event the success it was. If I have got my numbers right 16 members (including the committee) helped with the set up, take down and stewarding. Not forgetting everyone who entered images. Looking forward to next year.
